The Italian Job

J & L came over on Friday night - we good to see them as its been some time since we last went out. We had booked in to the Terrazza so we caught a cab there for 8:00. Meal was delicious, I had pasta, SJ had pasta with steak strips, J had steak and I can't remember what L had. All were cracking. Surprisingly quiet though for a Friday night - must be the Credit Crunch.

On SAturday, we went to see my Grandad. He's settled in now to the home, and despite still being convinced he can walk, he's OK with his situation. We had a Chinese, well Cantonese from Victoria Harbour in Featherstone on Saturday night, whilst watching England's dismal rugby display - far too may penalties conceded. Food was good, albeit pretty spicy!

Travelled back down Sunday lunchtime. I bought some JBL Spot speakers to go on the side in Radlett. They sound excellent...had some tea in The Three Compasses and then watched Dancing On Ice...all in all, a good weekend.
This week, I'm in work for just Monday, I then have the rest of the week off as holiday. Having said that, I'll still be doing some work as I need to update some of our presentations. It seems the only time I get to do them is when I'm on holiday...ridiculous really...
