They've just opened a new bike shop in Radlett - GIANT. We have been wondering what to do about the bikes for the last few weeks as we have no real way of transporting them up and down the motorway. We eventually decided it would be cheaper to buy a second set of bikes for us to use in Radlett rather than trying to transport them between staffs and herts. So today we bought a new pair from GIANT. SJ's is a Talon and mine is a Revel. We'll take them out properly tomorrow to see how they go...

Currently in the BA lounge waiting for a flight to Vienna. We're going for the weekend, back Monday. Should be a good one - I've been to Vienna airport loads of times bit never to the city itself.

Yesterday I went back to my local, friendly tattoo shop to get my latest addition. I wanted something to cover up a cartoon devil I'd had done when I was 18. This was my first tattoo and whilst I quite like it, it doesn't really "suit" me now if you know what I mean.
Its going to be about 6 hours work I reckon, with two down yesterday...

This week has been a little calmer after all the frantic goings-on over the last couple. We've booked our flights for the wedding, flying with Singapore Airlines to Auckland via Changi.

After the NZ's went back home, the house was pretty quiet for a while. Its funny because whike the kids are here, its bedlam, but when they leave, you want a little bit (not all) of that bedlam back...preferably in the shape of a Max, Otis or Dharma...

On Sunday we went to Calderfields Golf Club to celebrate SJ's father and sister's birthday's - being 70 and 40 respectively. Great meal and pretty reasonable albeit the service was pretty slow.
