In Czech again

For the last couple of days I've been back in Brno. I'm presenting at conference again. This time I'm doing two days. First one down, one to go. Last Night we ate at a restaurant called Hansen. It was excellent although they had ran out of veal...

I've noticed with Czech hotels, they seem to have a fascination with stuffed animals. This one was no different...

The hotel itself was like something straight out of communist times - you can iamgine The Party having their schnapps on the terrace outside.

Bublé bubble

So the buble concert was excellent. Once again the o2 loved up to its good reputation and once again we enjoyed being in the box. Michael buble wasn't necessarily my initial cup of tea, however you can't argue with his voice - he really is an excellent singer.

Phoenix and Sydney

Last night we met up with some friends for a few drinks and a pizza. One set of friends were from Phoenix, the other from sydey. We went into Covent garden and ate at fire and stone. It was ok...run of the mill fare really. Was good to catch up though. Incredibly busy as well!

Cafe nero

Today I have a day off - not for any other reason that I just fancied a day off. This week has been really busy, strategy presentations, reviews, trips to Norway, training and then more presentations. Basically I'd just had enough! So far today I swatches tv for a while, a film or two and now I'm in cafe Nero in Radlett having passion cake and a large cappucino...excellent.

This weekend is a bank holiday which means that I've got four days off... Cool...

Oh and the bluebells are out in force in the local wood...summer is coming...

Sandvika

I'm staying just outside Oslo in a town called sandvika, at least I think that's where I am! Apparently the eurovision song contest is being held here this year. Not sure if that's a good sign...

Tonight we're off out for a meal and then I think an early night. It's been a pretty full on few days and I don't think I've fully recovered from the Whitney experience!

Norway

Today I'm in Oslo. I'm doing some training and a presentation today and tomorrow. Norway is a nice country, very efficient. I'm on the Silver train which is excellent and a real model of how to run an airport service. It's the second time I've been to Oslo, the first being to meet sj shortly after we met...brings back a lot of fond memories...
